Many people search for advice on how to be a “good” or “best” grandparent. This site exists for those who believe the role is less about advice and more about how we show up. This pledge exists because love can easily drift into pressure, control, or expectation — even with the best intentions.

There is no science or professional expertise here.
Just a parent doing the work of becoming a good grandparent — by earning it.

Written for new grandparents (and for those who wish to evolve in the role), choosing to discipline our own behavior before asking anything of others is key here.
